string theory
Some of the most intriguing snail trails left in the ether of the internet come from the magical voodoo that allows me to see the search strings - the combinations of keywords - that lead people to triggerfinger.com.

simply put, you type "cold heart" in google, and voila, there's a link to triggerfinger photography in the search results. i don't remember keying in text in this site...it's to feature my photography, not my runon sentences.

some of the search result matches are mysteries to me, which makes it seem all the more profound and telling than i imagine it would be if i had a solid understanding of how search engines worm their way through the web. but the former is far more fun. i have the creeping feeling there's far more insight into my inner machinations than i ever cared to really disect. but then again, it's just a bunch of super computers doing their daily algorythmic calisthenics.

i figured if i found the unexpected ones entertaining, you might too...
